Combat is hard
I made the 3 new fights, and filled them with glorious fog particle effects. Well, that made the combat very difficult to read. So I had to tune them way back. Then I ran into some issues where the combat was just not very fun. The tentacle boss took much longer than I was hoping it would. I worry he (it?) might be a little bit too hard for how early he is.
I’ll avoid boring everyone with the dry computer science details, but I learned that Unity basically don’t support them. This made me rewrite some really core things.
I got landing page design, and the load art. I didn’t get the UI art for saving. This means the whole UI is a mish-mash of quality. I hate it, but that is life.
Dropped written work
We have two fully written scenes that didn’t get cut up in time. That is the downside of a rigid release schedule; work that is nearly done misses going out.
We have 2 scenes written now.
I saw the drawn sex scene rough sketch. It wasn’t in a shareable state, but it should be done in time for the next release.
